Kontakt Chemie PCC PCB Cleaner (200ml)

Kontakt Chemie PCC is a PCB cleaner that perfectly removes flux residues, specially formulated from a CFC-free organic solvent mixture that easily removes the most viscous deposits, oils and other contaminants. Kontakt PPC is used for cleaning printed circuit boards and other electronic components. The aerosol is used both before and after soldering, during repairs and surface preparation. The preparation is free of chlorine, fluorinated hydrocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons. The product comes with a special brush for easy cleaning of various surfaces.

Features

  • The main purpose is to clean the surface of printed circuit boards from dust and dirt after soldering
  • High cleaning power due to special solvent mixture
  • Dries quickly without leaving streaks or marks
  • Prepares the surface for protective varnishes and improves their adhesion
  • Provides high surface resistance

Application

  • Kontakt PCC is used to clean printed circuit boards, electronic circuits and other electronic components
  • It is recommended to use the panel cleaner before and after the soldering process, as well as during repair work to repair the damaged coating, before applying protective varnishes or protective stickers

Recommendations

  • The aerosol comes with a combination spray brush for easy mechanical cleaning
  • The aerosol can also be used upside down to reach hard-to-reach areas
  • Carbon dioxide is used as a propellant in the aerosol, allowing up to 95% of the active ingredient to be added to the cylinder
  • If there are small contaminants, simply wash the contaminated surface with the product
  • To remove flux or solder residue, first moisten the brush in the product, then spray the solvent onto the PCB by gently pressing the brush onto the surface. Then hold the PCB as close to the vertical as possible and continue cleaning from top to bottom. For best results, re-wash the surface with Kontakt PCC
  • If a whitish coating remains on the surface after cleaning, it may indicate that the cleaner may have partially dissolved the panel's protective varnish. In this case, it is recommended to restore the coating with Plastic 70 acrylic varnish
  • Kontakt PCC has been tested for compatibility with most PCBs, protective varnishes and electronic components. In particular, it was noted that this product does not violate color codes. There are only a few highly sensitive plastics that are damaged by Kontakt PCC. These are, for example, polystyrene and polycarbonate. Compatibility with such materials must be verified in advance
  • Avoid any open flames, heating elements and lightning sources, electrical discharges until the solvent has completely evaporated.
